National Recognition for Junior Auxiliary of Clinton

Junior Auxiliary of Clinton was mentioned in a USA Today article about their support of the excellent work of the Clinton Public School District to improve the health of Clinton children and First Lady Michelle Obama's visit to Clinton next week.  The JA Clinton Pounds for P.E. Project, led by Christy Salassi, was a project in which JA ladies and other from the community worked to lose weight and improve their health and received financial pledges toward this goal. In additional the provisional members of JA Clinton set up collections throughtout the community to allow individuals to support the efforts of providing equipment to support the CPSD physical education programs.
