The Junior Auxiliary (JA) of Clinton is one of over 100 JA chapters throughout the south who are members of the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries (NAJA). NAJA was organized in Greenville, Mississippi, on November 3, 1944, by 100 women from ten Mississippi and Arkansas communities.
The Clinton, MS, chapter of Junior Auxiliary has served its community since 1986. Local volunteer members work with over 12,000 other women across the region to address needs in their communities (especially the needs of children and their families).
Junior Auxiliary members give their time and talents to community projects by addressing pressing educational, health, cultural and social needs.
The number of children reached by the Clinton chapter averages more than 5,000 annually. These children represent all social and economic levels. The Junior Auxiliary membes accomplish these tasks through our major fundraiser, the Annual Charity Event.
